Is it the draw of seeing the majestic mountains with all its spectacular scenic views that intrigues you? Or just some time in the saddle, away from all the hustle & bustle of our busy lives. We offer 1 hour trail rides all the way up to full day horseback riding adventures.

If a day ride is not enough or you want to experience the true outdoors then a pack trip or wagon adventure might just be what your looking for. This is a great way to unwind & it allows you to escape the pressures of life if only for a few days. Our trips are based in the spectacular Clearwater Valley in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Magnificent river valleys, a fishable alpine lake & fabulous ridge lines with 360 degree views are just a few of the options from our camp. With the backcountry camping area being completely reachable by horse drawn wagon this allows all gear and any interested people to be transported in by wagon, leaving the door open for endless possibilities. So you don't need to be a avid horseback rider to enjoy or partake. 

We cater to personal family trips or small groups of friends which allows each of you to personally experience the backcountry anyway you like. Whether it be horseback riding, fishing, hiking, biking, or camping that's your main interest, we can help.

The all-inclusive trips include cozy wall tents with cots for added comfort.

July 7th to 11th - Rocky Mountain Pack Trip

A true mountain experience awaits adventure seekers with this 5 day pack trip. This trip has it all from old forest fire burns that reveal rejuvenated growth, to lush mountain meadows to magnificent ridgetops with 365 degree views. The cowboy coffee, hearty homecooked meals and warm campfires await you.

This trip is all about connection, bonding & building unforgettable memories with your child during this 4 day 3 night adventure. Slow life down and take away the distractions so the mountains can refuel the soul. No need to be an avid rider as our comfortable backcountry camp is completely accessible by horse drawn wagon, meaning you can ride as little or as much as you want.

This 3 day pack trip is a mini getaway into a little piece of heaven. Traveling with pack horses allows for a explore as you go attitude with great flexibility. Perfect for families or individuals looking to get their feet wet with an overnight horseback adventure.

August 18th to 22nd  – The Pampered Cowgirl

The Pampered Cowgirl Experience offers the unique opportunity to explore the remote wilderness, learn backcountry skills and connect with other fabulous ladies. Now, let’s talk about the pampering as each lady will enjoy a relaxation massage and a mini movement session that is a blend of pilates and yoga. These will help you with any aches and pains that you may be feeling after a day in saddle and have you ready for the next adventure.  However the true cowgirl experience and finding yourself will be when we take our new backcountry skills and pack out to a fabulous fly camp location for a night spent out  under the stars. The perfect blend with the comforts of our main backcountry camp while trying your hand at roughing. Ideal for adventurous ladies at a confident novice to intermediate riding level. 

August 24th to 27th - Mountain Getaway

A perfect trip for anyone looking to get outside and take in the beauty of the Alberta Rockies. Our comfortable backcountry camp is the perfect setting if your looking to kick back and relax or if your wanting to hit the trails to see the mountain sights. Guests will choose their own itinerary by selecting from a variety of daily activities making this trip unique for each guest. A wonderful getaway for all to enjoy.

August 29th to Sept 1st - Fully Booked - Private Trip

September 3rd to 7th – Clearwater Explorer

This trip is designed for adventurous souls that want to find their inner grit, learn new skills and build a connection with nature. Ride the remote wilderness of the Clearwater River. This camp features lots of saddle time exploring the less traveled paths of this spectacular area. Horse packing education will be taught and or supported for those eager to try or improve their own skills. Expect to be adventuring away from camp 5 to 8 hours a day.  An adventurous attitude or a confident novice riding level and up is best suited for this fabulous trip.

September 9th to 12th - Fall Ladies Retreat

September is fabulous with the changing colors, quite valleys and fresh mountain. Making it the ideal time to unplug, unwind & relax on this 4 day/3 night all-inclusive retreat style adventure. Our comfortable backcountry camp has wall tents with cots & wood stoves to keep you cozy, a large cook tent, an outdoor heated shower and all of which is surrounded by an electric bear fence for your peace of mind in this spectacular setting. To top the trip off we even have a massage therapist join the trip to work away the stress and help you fully reset & recharge. Each of you will also be able choose from a variety of daily activities making each experience truly one of a kind. We welcome all riding levels including beginners and it can easily be converted to a wagon adventure so that anyone can enjoy this trip. 

Hunters

• The drop camp service is a great option, as it lets you experience that high mountain hunt without having the burden of hauling in your own gear. We will haul in your equipment to a prearranged spot or camp either by pack horse or wagon. This will allow you to get that much closer to the wildlife. When the hunt is over we return to haul our your gear and any meat you may of acquired during the trip. Save your energy for the hunt and don't exhaust yourself getting to it.
• Hunting camps - We can outfit your group with a comfortable all-inclusive camp. Wall tents, stoves, cots and cooking services available. We can also provide activities for any non-hunters in your party.
